The conditions contained herein are applicable to all information collected on behalf of and by MAYALAND – CHICHEN.

PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED

MAYALAND – CHICHEN may process Personal Data, that is, information that identifies you or makes you identifiable. Some of these personal data are, for example: name, address, marital status, date of birth, nationality, Federal Taxpayer Registry, home phone, office phone, cell phone, email, payment information. Personal data you provide voluntarily when requesting our services. MAYALAND – CHICHEN may interrelate the information that you provide to MAYALAND – CHICHEN with other information that you have voluntarily provided to third parties. The above, in order to provide you with a better service.

USES AND PURPOSES OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The Personal Data that you provide to MAYALAND – CHICHEN will be processed, in addition to complying with the obligations derived from the relationship that may be created with you, for the purpose of providing the requested service in relation to the temporary stay.

In the event that your personal data is intended to be used for a purpose other than the above, MAYALAND – CHICHEN will notify you by email or by telephone, in order to obtain your consent for the processing of your personal data in accordance with the new purposes. If your consent is not received, for the cases in which it is necessary, MAYALAND – CHICHEN will not use your personal data.

DATA TRANSMISSION AND TRANSFER

Personal MAYALAND – CHICHEN will not share, without your prior consent, your personal data with third parties, national or foreign, except (a) that the law or a court order so require; (b) that the information must be shared with contractors of MAYALAND – CHICHEN to carry out internal operations and fulfill the purposes described (for example to send you a promotional item requested by you, deliver orders, store the information physically or electronically ); (c) to protect the rights or property of MAYALAND – CHICHEN or its clients; (d) that such transfer is provided for in the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties. Access to your personal data, held by MAYALAND – CHICHEN, will be limited to those who need access to said information, in order to carry out the identified purposes.

In the event that at the time of providing your Personal Data to MAYALAND – CHICHEN you are assigned a username and password; you will be responsible for keeping said information confidential. We suggest that you do not share this information with anyone. If you share your computer, always try to log out before leaving a site or service to prevent unauthorized third parties from accessing your information.

RIGHTS THAT CORRESPOND TO YOU

You, as the owner of personal data, may request access, rectification, cancellation, or opposition (ARCO rights) from the Department of Personal Data Protection of MAYALAND – CHICHEN, regarding your personal data. Likewise, you may, at any time, revoke the consent you have granted, and that may be necessary, for the processing of your personal data. To do this, you must send your respective request to Km. 120 Carretera Mérida – Cancún, Archaeological Zone of Chechen Itza, Yucatán or to the email recepcion@mayalandchichen.com. For easy reference, we inform you of the following:

Access. – to be informed which of your personal data is contained in the MAYALAND – CHICHEN databases and for what purpose said personal data is used, the origin of said data and the communications that have been made with them.

Rectification. – that your personal data be corrected or updated if it is inaccurate or incomplete. You must inform MAYALAND – CHICHEN of the changes that must be made to your personal data, when said changes are only known to you.

Cancellation. – That your personal data be totally or partially removed from the MAYALAND – CHICHEN databases. This request will give rise to a blocking period after which the deletion of the data will proceed. There are cases in which the cancellation will not be possible in terms of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and other applicable legal provisions.

Opposition. – oppose for legitimate cause the processing of your personal data by MAYALAND – CHICHEN or limit its use or disclosure. In cases where the opposition is based on the receipt of certain communications, said communications will include the option to leave the mailing list and stop receiving them.

CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY NOTICE

MAYALAND – CHICHEN reserves the right to modify or amend, totally or partially, this Privacy Notice. The modified Privacy Notice will be sent to the email you provided or will be published on the website www.mayaland-chichen.com

The lack of opposition to the new Privacy Notice within 5 business days of receipt will be understood as your acceptance of the terms established therein.
